Drawing Begins: Epic Action Poses!
My fellow nerds young and old, this is for you! This class is all about superheroes, villains, and monsters.
Take basic shapes and values and turn them into superpowered beings!
Step One: We’ll keep it simple at first. Construct a basic skeleton(aka stick figure), then use basic shapes to note the anatomical structure.
Step Two:
Once you get your character framed, it’s time to inject the super serum! We’ll cover some basic elements of the muscular and skeletal systems, then play around with exaggerations.
Step Three:
Time to add the details that make your character unique (outfits, accessories, etc.) The more outlandish, the better! Pay homage to your favorite character, or just create one of your own.
My assistants, Bruce and Jed III, have graciously volunteered to model and provide moral support.
