Fundamentals in Flow: Watercolor Basics

This four-session class is designed to explore the essential tools, techniques, and approaches at the heart of watercolor painting. Taught by local artist and educator Kathleen Wills, the series welcomes both first-time painters and those who’ve already begun experimenting with the medium.
You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how watercolor behaves, what materials support your process, and how to make the most of this expressive and often unpredictable medium. Through demonstration and hands-on exploration, you’ll build a stronger foundation for your own creative practice.
Whether you’re brand new or looking to reconnect with the basics, this course offers a space to grow your skills with clarity and confidence.
