Submit Your Work for The Colors We Carry

Frame of Mind invites artists to contribute to “The Colors We Carry,” an art exhibition dedicated to raising awareness for breast and ovarian cancer. This exhibition will showcase a powerful collection of artwork that explores the journeys of strength, resilience, and hope, using the symbolic colors of pink and teal, and imagery related to the BRCA genetic mutation.

Through your art, we aim to create a visual dialogue about these cancers—bringing awareness, sharing stories, and honoring the individuals who are impacted by these diagnoses. Whether through abstract, figurative, or symbolic work, we encourage artists to express their personal connection to the cause and to contribute to the collective healing and awareness.

We welcome all visual media including painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art. Together, let’s use our creativity to spark conversations and inspire change.

Important Dates

Deadline for Entries: August 26, 2026

Accepted Artwork Notification: August 28, 2026

Delivery of Accepted Artwork: September 21 – 26, 2026

Exhibit Opens: October 1, 2026

Exhibit Reception: October 9, 2026   5:30 – 8pm

Exhibit Closes: October 24, 2026

Artwork Pickup: October 26 – October 31, 2026

Artwork Specifications

Artwork must be able to hang on the wall – unless sculpture– and must be framed by the artist once accepted. Frame of Mind will offer framing services to artists whose works have been accepted. Please make sure that artwork, once framed, is no bigger than 24 x 36. Artists are able and encouraged to enter up to 3 pieces and no more. All artwork for sale – 55% commission to artists, 45% commission to Frame of Mind.
